Walking in the Mandarin Grove

I'm finished with my fourth, and final small painting for the midtown art fair this Saturday. This one gives a better idea of what the larger works will look like.
I'm glad I worked with this subject. I would have been very frustrated if I went after it larger and in oil. Nothing like that sort of thing to amplify the negative voices. Yikes, I can do without that very well. Mmmmm, onto linocuts. I believe moving from the tightly controlled to the totally experimental is the artists equivalent of self induced bipolar! Hahaha, we are a strange breed. Happy Wednesday!
