The Bee Show

Was a huge success! For those of you that weren't able to make it out, this was my contribution (in whole) for the show. It was a beautiful afternoon, and many, many supporters came out to view, enjoy and purchase art. One of my dear friends, Verity, purchased a piece in memory of her mom. She shared the story with me about how her mom did amazing needle work, and would always sign her work with an embroidered honey bee! How precious. Another dear friend, Amy, has a tattoo (featured) of a honey bee on her wrist to remind her of all the diverse ways she should approach the world. Some of the time she needs to "bee" sweet, other times she needs to "bee" strong, smart, silly, etc. I thought that was a cool way to symbolize the transitions life demands of us along the way!
